    Nairobi to Lake Naivasha

    Nairobi → Lake Naivasha · approx. 90 km, 1.5–2 hrs

    Morning

    Pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport and a short drive into the Rift Valley, with a stop at the escarpment viewpoint.

    Afternoon

    Arrive at your historic lakeside farmhouse for lunch, then relax in the gardens, by the pool or on a short nature walk.

    Evening

    Dinner at the farmhouse. Your guide will discreetly confirm the proposal plans with you (and not your partner!).

  2. Day2

    Lake Naivasha

    Lake Naivasha · boat safari and Crescent Island walk

    Morning

    Boat ride on Lake Naivasha among hippos, fish eagles, pelicans and kingfishers.

    Afternoon

    Guided walk on Crescent Island, where you can walk among giraffe, zebra, waterbuck and wildebeest; this is where scenes from 'Out of Africa' were filmed. Optional horse riding or cycling in Hell's Gate.

    Sundowners by the lake and dinner.

    Morning

    Dawn game drive with a bush breakfast. Optional sunrise balloon flight, another popular moment to pop the question.

    Afternoon

    Siesta and spa time, then a late-afternoon game drive that 'just happens' to end at a private hilltop decorated with lanterns, flowers and a champagne set-up, with a photographer hidden nearby to capture the moment.

    Evening

    Celebration dinner, which can be a private bush dinner under the stars (optional add-on).

    Return to Nairobi

    Last early game drive as an engaged couple, then breakfast.

    Drive back to Nairobi, arriving mid-afternoon at your hotel or the airport.

    Evening

    End of services. Your proposal photos are delivered by email within 7 days.
